Taking their name off a quote from the TV series “Heroes,” I Hate Heroes is a post-hardcore sextet with members ranging from California all the way to Reading, Pennsylvania. Brought together through other bands and projects, they solidified their line up in 2014 and shortly after made their way to the studio to record their cover of Taylor Swifts “Blank Space” and their first single “Rebirth.”
Recognized for their dedication to their fans and for a very fulfilling live show, the band was named Artist of the Month by Idobi’s “Rock the Walls” blog, which led to steady rotation on Idobi’s Metalix radio station. From there, the band made their way onto the Vans Warped tour for several weeks, further solidifying their growing name and fan base.
The band is currently planning to write and record a new full-length sometime in 2016. Like previous records, this one will push their primary message as a band, which is to not accept anyone’s definition of the truth but your own, and to live for yourself. I Hate Heroes is a band full of promise, so keep on the lookout.
